HD100 footage into Vegas, anyone?

I recall Barry Green having a few words on the subject of the HD100 footage and getting it into Vegas, well I think the problem was getting it into anything!
Specifically these guys seem to need to get 25p out of the JVC deck and into something. I guess once it's in a file Vegas can handle it, problem seems to be nothing will capture it. Issue seems to be that the deck sends real 25p not 25PsF.
I think they've been able to handle the 24p footage OK but for some reason switched to shooting 25p midstream.

What works fine for HD100/HD101 is to capture with Cineforms Connect HD - which allows an automatic scene detection, the on-the-fly conversion to the intermediate, but also to save the m2t files seperarted in scenes on the hard disk.

Vegas6c does not support up to now the HD100 - sorry to say so.

Another solution would be Edius 3.x, what will support the HD100 in the next update 3.6, what was annonced for the next weeks. Here you can capture to the Connect HD codec with automatic scene detection, and import those files in Vegas too. It worked with Edius 3.3 and 3.5 too, but here you have support for 720 30p only, but not for 720 25p.

As far as I know, there is a cross upgrade running at the moment - so, the price for Connect HD and the cross upgrade for Edius 3.5 (as pure sofware soluation) are very similar at the moment.
