HDR editing / monitoring...

I've got an HDR monitor now setup in Windows. If I understand what I have read, the little PREVIEW window should show me full HDR review IF the monitor is running in HDR mode from Windows, correct? Instead of needing to run it as a separate, external monitor. My system IS in HDR mode, visually obvious, and seen by the quick popup from the screen itself, and information in the sub menu.

Other than the various color space settings along the workflow, are there other things on the hardware side to look out for or set?

I'm also looking in to calibration to 1886...

Yes, if Windows HDR is on, and you see your HDR monitor flag into HDR mode, and you have Vegas in HDR mode, you're good as long as you have the HDR monitor in full screen.
