HDV Capture

When capture of Dv is aet, one option you have is to select split clips at scene change.
Has anyone found this feature available for the HDV utility?
It is part of the Cineform Connect HD product, although that only works part of the time.

Of all the HDV capture tools I've got, I've not found anything that splits scenes accurately and consistently. (premiere, HDConnect, Liquid)

Well, in the meantime the split of scenes for HDV seems to be available for Edius 3.3 (at least that was communicated in the german Canopus forum).

I mean, it seems to be possible but very complex maybe - any ideas when Vegas will be able to do so?

It doesn't work full time/every time in Edius 3.3, either.

Really? I did not hear any complains up to now in the canopus forum - but the whole story is very very new.
