HDV capture in W2000

Has anyone successfully captured HDV from an HDR-FX1with Vegas 6 in Windows 2000?

I think I may be missing a Sony D-VHS driver file that may only be included in Windows XP. It would be nice to know that whatever problems I am having are only temporary.

I am not sure, and have not captured in 6, but to capture in 5 w/ cineform I think I remember having to install XPSP2. Best luck.

I think that's right too, I think the CF codec needs XP to work.
