HDV split and cineform caveat

Dont know if any of you have experienced this but I thought I would point it out.
I have been using HDV Split with great sucess, mainly for the fact of it finding scenes and lableing them with the tapes time code.
Then I usually will take all the scenes and use Connect HD to batch convert to CFDI ,overnight for instance.
I noticed recently that Connect would start converting then suddenly stop at different times.
I finaly found out that if the m2t file was small ,like a short scene with a file size of under 2-3 mb.(usually from an inadvertant cycle of the record button etc.) that would lock up Connect HD.

I had to shut it down and restart.

If I sorted the files leaving out the small files (using only files over 4mb)
it works fine.
then I review the small ones to see if they were actual scenes or junk.
you can convert the small ones in Connect Hd but only one at a time.

Just an FYI

Wonder how GearShift would handle the conversion...

Send this info to Tim at CineForm. He knows a lot about this. First make sure you have the latest version and not the one from the Sony site.
