HDV Split has just been updated to version .53. Apparently there were some artifact producing errors in version .51 that have been straightened out.

Anyone who wasn't happy with the quality of capture before may want to give this utility another shot. For anyone who doesn't know, HDV Split is a utility that captures M2T video with scene splitting or can split a large M2T capture by scenes based upon timecode (the same as we're used to on DV capture).

I only wish it worked with the Z1U using FREERUN timecode and the Canon XL-H1 in 24F mode using FREERUN timecode.

I just absolutely love programmers, coders & software makers who make utilities like this for us to use, and do not charge for them. My hats off and BIG RESPECT to the makers of HDVsplit.
