HDV to MPEG4 Workflow

Until now the HDV versions of my projects have all ended up as wmv9. I understand I can now render as mpeg4 and put on DVD with DVDA to play in compatible DVD player. Is this so? And if so, what is the workflow, Vegas6 setting etc.

You currently can't do HD export from Vegas via AVC. 720 x 480 is max resolution right now.
Besides, very few DVD players can playback AVC right now. Look to Christmas to see a bunch more of these.
