I have running the latest version of H264 from Mainconcept and it is a nice encoder for meg1,2,4,... but I found out that it removes Mpeg1,2,4, mp3 from vegas5 and dvda2. It does not effect vegas4. Sony is trying to figure it out, but has not as of today. Mainconcept simply says that the encoders' parent programs are not compatible with each other. Reinstalling vegas5 does not restore formats.

Since mainconcept designed both encoders, one would wonder why does Sony Vegas 5 dies and Permier doesn't?
