I'm recording a stereo signal I made into Vegas.

I've always been able to hear what I'm bringing in as I bring it in - all of a sudden, today I can't hear it - I can see the waveform & when I stop the program & play it back, it's there, but I can't hear it while it's going in - any ideas -

I'm sure it's a relatively simple thing I missed - I hope!
