HELP!

I upgraded (??) from video factory 2.0 to Movie Studio.
1) When loading my previoous files (vid.fact.) .vf's into Movie Studio, I can not edit my titles. I can see them in the preview window but when trying to edid, the window is "new", NO TEXT to edit. I have to retype everthing. I was abble to do this (edit my scrolling titles) in Vid.Fact.

2) Why some sound files mp3 do not work in movie studio and some do? Again, in my vid. fact. project, all files play.

Some thing I'm missing in Movie Studio or should I go back to my Video Factory 2.0 that never gave me any problems?

There is a bug in MovieStudio that does not allow you to edit the text of a Credit Roll after you create it. Perhaps this same bug is affecting titles imported from VF2. I would contact Sony support to report the problem. It may be something they need to fix. I have no idea why MP3’s that worked in VF don’t work. Try making a new project and using the same MP3’s to determine if it’s a problem with the VF2 import or a problem with MovieStudio in general. Once again make sure you contact product support to report this in case it is a bug they need to fix.

Personally, I would never change application versions in the middle of a project. I would go back to VF2 and finish your project. Then use MovieStudio for your next project. But that’s just me. ;-)

JohnnyRoy, thanks for the help.

About the MP3's files, I inserted them in a new project in MovieStudio and they showed up as 720x480x24 29.97 fps video files. Again, these files are sound files that play well in VF2.

I e-mailed product support and I'm waiting for an answer.

Thanks again.
