HELP!

I have just switched from the ancient Adobe Premiere 6.1 to Vegas 8 and a brand new custom computer, But alas, I am not finding Vegas as easy to learn as some suggested it would be. In fact I'm pretty stymied.
I make independent documentary films mostly for home-video sales. I seek someone within 50 miles of Madison, WI who is willing to spend a couple of hours at their place or mine teaching me how to do the several things that I can't figure out. While it would be swell if someone did this for free out of kindness and generosity, I am willing to pay a reasonable fee for the service if demanded.

The Sony Creative Software team is headquartered in Madison.
I don't know what their policy is on moonlighting, but they are pretty friendly . . .

Just ask your questions here. There's a lot of very experienced people here ready to help.

And feel free to experiment - Vegas is non-destructive and your original media is never touched. The best thing is that what takes several steps in Premiere is usually one or two steps in Vegas.
