HELP

Got a 9.c project with a lot of edits and ozone wave hammer stuff multi tracks. When I render the audio to any format I end up with clicks/stutters in random parts of the audio. Happens even if I turn off all the effects. No issues in the source file. I get some during normal playback sometimes but I can alter it by modifying the buffer but it shouldnt happen when I render and it does. Nothing I try fixes it. I copied the tracks into a new project same result.

Are you using the the élastique time-stretch ? I had huge problems with that.

Nope not on this one. Also tried reinstaling Vegas. Makes no sense.

MiniDV audio.

One of the spots on playback from the timeline where I get stutter is where a new clip begins. If I start playback right before the clip it plays with no stutter but if I start playback while on the preceeding audio clip there is stutter when it reached the stutter clip. I would not care if it was only on playback but it's in the render too.

If you've turned off the "Quickfade Audio Events" switch, you will get a little click at every event edge. That's because the audio instantly goes to / from zero amplitude.

The event(s) I have a problem with has a fade on it, but thanks. I do have the quickfade on.

- Data on separate drive to OS ?
- 7200 (or higher) rpm drive?
- HDD not reverted down to low UDMA number, or PIO mode ?
- No IRQ clashes ?
- Defragmented ?
- AV turned off ?
- Just too many plugins gulping too much CPU ( especially older Ozone can do that)
