i downloaded the 24 gb 2.0a upgrade. it just about has my hard drive full. but i dont see any changes in the performance. i still can only save about 10 min of video before it stops recording. plus while its recording it still has the audio out of sync with the video. is there anyway i can save a larger file without linking a bunck of 4gb clips together? if not im bringing this stinkin program back to the store and getting my money back. ill use nero instead. but i like this program so much better. please help!

If you have Windows 9x/Me, the 4 GB max file size is a limitation of the operating system (in particular, the FAT32 file system), not Video Factory. Buying any another program will not help in this regard.

If you have Windows NT, 2000 or XP, you have the option of formatting your drive as FAT32 (for compatabitlity with Win 9x) or NTFS. If you use NTFS, you won't have the 4 GB limit anymore.

As far as audio sync goes, is the problem with both capture and print-to-tape?

Here are some generic tips on how to maintain sync. I have found that most audio sync problems are due to dropped frames. To avoid dropped frames, you might want to make sure DMA is enabled on your hard drive. Also defragement your hard drive regularly. Capture you audio as PCM (don't compress with MP3 or any other compression "on the fly").
