I am taking a wedding video and looking for a smooth look to it. Is it ok to use this rendering setting and not have any problems with settop dvd players?
I am rendering mpeg 2 and choosing dvd ntsc and then using the custom button I choose under video tab the frame rate of 23.976 + 2-3 pulldown. This setting takes my camera footage and makes it look incredibly film like and smooths any jaggs from a secong 1 ccd camera. I tried 24 p for dvd architect and it was not as impressive as this setting. I am asking this because I thought there was some talk once before about using something like this and just want to make sure I am not setting myself up for a "This does not play in my dvd player"! We have had great luck just using regular footage from DV in Vegas mpeg 2 renders but our wedding this time wants the film look and magic bullet isn't all the magic I see. ; )
Thank you for your advice everyone here.
