HELP - don't have the option to render anything!

All of a sudden, when I click on "render as" I don't have to option to render video at all. Also, if I click on "render to new track" nothing happens. This is V4.0 BTW. Anyone experienced this before? I did a search and found nothing.

try selecting a portion of the video first then check your options

Never heard of this, but try re-installing Vegas or installing 4.0c. Create a backup of your project file first....

absolutely nothing. I need more time to work it out. I still use 3.0 if I have to. I was having some issues with the ASIO drivers. So I can't use that anymore. Now it's this. Very confusing. I'm sure reinstalling will solve it temporarily.
