HELP! How do I use Pan/crop mask.. anchor points.

+Hi all,

I am trying to use the mask feature found in the pan/crop button to have a still object appear on a video track below it. Kind of like a cutout, but without having to create the cutout in photoshop or something and import into vegas5.

1) I have put one track above another. Top one is a still, bottom is video.
2) Using the pan crop button, I have selected "mask" and have set anchor points all around the object. Forming a complete line around the object.

I am not sure where to go from here.

What I suspect you're forgetting to do is to select point #1 again after you're done. This "closes the loop" so to speak and makes the mask. You can then play with the various options in the "Path" section.
