Help, I'm losing it!

Hi All.

I've installed my new version of Sound Forge 7, with Noise reduction.

I'm attempting to use the demo to get a handle on how it works. I can capture the noiseprint.

I now need to right click on the blank space below the real-time check box and choose Select All Data from the pop up menu.

Well, I can't find it! where is the real time check box?

I can't therefore play the whole file.

Please help!

Andy

Andy,
I use Sound Forge 6, but this should look the same. See if this makes sense to you:
You've selected a noise only section and captured the noiseprint, right? At the bottom right corner of the dialogue box there is a button called selection. Press it. Up pops menu where you can select all smple date and click OK. Now you press OK (top right) in the first dialogue box, and the entire file gets processed.
You might want to do it once more; if so, get a new noiseprint after you processed the file once.

Expand your menu at the bottom to view the entire menu by dragging the bottom or dragging the side.

Thanks JJ

Nope, no can do.

I'm beginning to think I'm starting wrong.

The only way I can get NR up is via a plug in chainer. The help says to choose Sony NR from the directX Menu. I can't even find that!

Basic guys? I know I'm being a pain, but I'm very frustrated. All help VERY MUCH appreciated.
