[Help] Image Cut Off

mario-b wrote on 4/11/2018, 7:27 PM

I need help in putting an image in one of my videos. I try to move it around in the video and there seems to be an invisible wall. In fact the image is really tiny as well, I went to pan/crop and nothing helped. If anyone has a solution please help, thank you! (Using MSP15)

I've also watched videos saying to unlock aspect ratio and change it to 1920x1080 and then lock it again. But it still cuts off my image.

Use Track Motion instead of Pan/Crop or — maybe even better — use the new Picture-in-Picture FX of MSP15.

I did what you said and the Track Motion messes with all the images in the same track. The Picture-in-Picture FX has the same problem with the Pan/Crop... the image still cuts off from the invisible border. Why does that happen?

Did you reset Pan/Crop before applying the Picture-in-Picture FX?

No I haven't, how do I reset Pan/Crop?

In the Pan/Crop timeline you need to go to the keyframe(s) in question, then right-click into the editing window of Pan/Crop and select "Restore" in the context menu.

Could you offer your project file *.vf where this happens for download

I actually just figured it out... I kept placing my image in the wrong track this entire time... as soon as I placed it in the default "text" track I was able to freely move my image anywhere without those invisible borders. Thank you so much for your help though!
