Help! Lost FX!

I'm near the end of a two hour production, and have lost the FX editing screens for text and video FX. When I click on the FX button on a clip nothing happens. I tried adding a new text clip and still can't access the text edit box. I closed and opened Screenblast, and tried a different producton but the problem's still there. I tried the Screenblast repair option, but it didn't help. Any suggestions before I delete and reinstall Screenblast. I really don't want to delete and reinstall because I'm afraid it might kill my productions, plus I'd have to redownload the "b" update.

I've heard of this happening before.

Most likely your effects box has somehow been nudged off the edge of your screen. It's there -- you just can't see it.

All you have to do is hold down Cntrl+Shift when you start up your software and it will reset so that it's in the center of your screen again. (Note that this will also reset all your custom preferences for the program, so you may have to re-tweak some things like toolbars to your liking.)

Didn't work. I have the media pool, etc box, but when I click on any FX on clips on the time line nothing comes up. I think I'm into a re-install.

I tried reducing Screenblast to partial screen (the box in the upper right) to see if the FX boxes would show, but they didn't. So I finally uninstalled Screenblast and reinstalled it, which took it back to normal operation. I tried this time reducing it to partial screen, and it does reduce the main screen but leaves the opened FX box full size and easy to find. I also re-downloaded 3.0b and installed it, and copied the .exe file to a disk so I don't have to wait three hours if I ever need to do this again (old fashioned dial-up).
