Help - Lost track display

I'm not sure what I hit - but in the editor I lost all tracks and nothing shows in the timeline. But if I hit 'play' my project plays?

I started a new project and the tracks where there - re-opened the old project and they were gone still. Is there anyway to reset the gui?

What version of VMS do you have? I have v7 and can't make the timeline disappear. Well, you can almost make it disappear if you drag on the divider bar between the timeline and preview window all the way up. But that doesn't change between projects.
