Ok,I have been trying all the settings for vegas video rendering.Everything from default temps to cine, indeo, etc codecs. And mpegs as well.
I was using media player to review the outcomes.
What I got was this:
Avi uncompressed played fine.File size is too big though!!
Avi using indeo codec played fine.About half the size of uncompressed.
I tried, and tried to get the mpeg 1 and 2 to come out well and nothing there.I used an explosion vid and when the bright explosion happens I get 3 lines across the screen(thin lines).Customizing settings even brings no results.
Quicktime?Well nothing happens here.It says there is nothing there. No settings come up either.
I did look under the video codecs in windows and did not see any listings for mpeg or quicktime.I am using media player 6.4(whatever comes with win 2000)All other machines are using media player 7.
Avi with cinepack was no better. It gave the same 3 line as mpeg.
Any ideas on the quicktime or mpeg issues?
The movie I am using is only a captured avi.
HELP??
