HELP me !!
adding a video file that has audio also to Vegas 4.0. It won't reconize the audio in the clip on MPEG Layer-3 codec I used. The message at the bottom in the Explore window has this: "Audio: Stream attributes could not be determined, MPEG Layer-3".
What is the problem???? When I drag the Video to the Frames edit window at the top all I get is the video and not the audio. It seems that every video I've ran through Dr. Divx is doing this. Yes,I'm using Mpeg-layer-3 codec when encoding the files. This also happens with video ran through Virtual Dub also.
I was having a problem with Vegas not reconizing the Video correctly before [Divx was being reported as Xvid codec] and would get black frames in the video edit window. I deleted Xvid off my system and reloaded Divx codec again [fixed] But, can't get the program to work with MPEG-layer-3. As you can see in the fault message...it reconizes the code. I've been using a 160kBits/s, 44,100hz setting when I can.
Please if someone can help I'd be greatful.
