Have you tried a reinstall? It might work. I'd uninstall, shut down my computer, and then install on reboot.

Yeah, I just did it again, and it's still not working, I don't know what's worng, and I'm on a Windows 7 64 bit operating system

If I had this problem I would contact Sony Support. You get free support for 30 days, if I'm not mistaken, and they would be the best ones to address this issue.

If it's not connecting online, it's usually a firewall or antivirus interfering.
Click on the button for telephone registration instead, and register manually.
