I'm new to Vegas Video 3.0, so I am assuming this is a user error. I'm using Vegas just for audio tracks at this point.
I've recorded an audio track that I want to render as an .mp3 file. I choose File > Render As, choose the file type, leave the template at "Stereo, 44,200 Hz, 16 bit PCM", and click save. The box showing the rendering in progress quickly flashes on screen and then is gone. I end up with a file between 15-84k in size (depending on whether I was rendering as mp3 or wav) and it contains 1 second of sound.
I've tried doing a select all on the track before I render, and this makes no difference.
What am I doing wrong? It just figures that I need to get this voice sample out in a matter of hours...aurgh.
