Think we need more info : Have you been able to burn dvd's with DVDA (or other software) and your dvd-burner before? Also do you use an internal or external dvd-burner and which version of DVDA are you using. At what point is the burn process stopping?

I've burned dvd's before using vegas movie studio + dvd. I've rendered, sent to Architect, and burned dvd's successfully.

I have an internal dvd burner.

I'm using Architect 2.0

And the burning process stops at about 98% complete. I'm only using about 10% of the space on the dvd.

ANY HELP you can give will be GREATLY appreciated.

If other recent projects were succesfully, are you using different media now and/or are there any other differences? If you have other media at hand or even better rewritable dvd's so you can avoid coasters. If you have Nero on your computer you can use that to burn your project to dvd. Last you can always try to shut down your computer and restart and see if that helps.

I was able successfully to burn twor ewritable dvd, but still nothing else. I shut down and restarted. Still no luck. And I've used the dvd's that were previously successful as well as the new ones I have. I'm mystified. Anything else you can think of that I could try?

What is the brand and model of your burner and exact what media are you using? Also do you have other burning software (like Nero) installed on your pc ?

SONY DVD RW DW-D22A

Fujifilm, dvd+r , up to 8x write speed
And Memorex, 8x

I don't think I have any other burning software.

Haven't worked with either of these so i don't know if they can help you burning your prepared project.

If you read this article you'll find some other users of your dvd burner who have problems - one even states it ONLY works with Nero....

As far as i know there is a free trial of Nero although i'm not aware if that's restricted in any way.

Sorry to not be more helpful

Perhaps you could try a lower write speed?

I appreciate your taking the time to help me out. I'm going to try re-rendering. At least I do have a copy now that works so I can get through the program this afternoon. That will give me more time to figure out what's not working.

Thanks for helping.

I've heard that there is a minimum amount of information that needs to be on a disc for it to burn (I think I read that somewhere on this forum for DVDA), but I would try adding another file that is outside the video folder that will take up another 10-20 percent of the disc and see if that fixes it. It can be anything, just don't put it in your video (or audio folder for that matter)- make sure that it is outside of those two folders.
