Help please, I can't print back to tape!

I'm using Windows XP and I can't print back to tape after I finish my project. I've tried using other camcorders and other software besides Vegas Video 3.0 The camcorder doesn't record but it does acknowledge the request to print to tape. Sometimes it says copying faile. Please help I'm very frustrated.

uncheck the 'disable device control box under video capture|general tab. You will have to manually start and stop the recorder. select preview to start the file you wish to record.

Are you printing from the Vegas timeline or printing from Video Capture?

What DV device are you using?

System specs?
