Help please-weird error

Okay. I have a full copy of Vegas 5 with CD.

Everything was going fine until I decided to install the Movie Looks software that came on the CD.

At the end of install of Movie looks I got an error that it could not find the "Look Suite.win.dll" file (even tho it is right there in the installed directory)
Go open up vegas and get 2 errors.
1. can not open application: cant find file "msvcp70.dll"
2. can not open application: cant find file "Look Suite.win.dll"

So I uninstalled Movie Looks, unistalled vegas removed all reg entries I could find. Then installed only vegas and get the same errors again.

Vegas seems to work fine, but I dont like seeing those errors when i open it up.
Help! Any one seen this?

Look for that same file in your magic bullet folder, and drag it to the Vegas workspace. That will register the plugin.

didnt seem to do it.

Dragged the "Look Suite.win.dl"l onto all areas of vegas. Timeline, fx tab (and all others) preview window etc...

Every time vegas told me "none of the files dropped onto Vegas could be read"

Vegas looks for a special tag in the version information for a DLL in order to self-register it. This tag is named OLESelfRegister and if you don't see it when you look in the Version tab list for the Windows Explorer properties for that DLL, then that is why Vegas won't register it.

Try this instead: open a cmd window and run regsvr32.exe manually. In the command line, type the full path of regsvr32.exe, followed by a space, and the full path of the DLL you want to register. Put the full path of the DLL in double quotes if it contains any spaces.

C:\WINNT\system32\regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\foo\example.dll"

Use the /u option before the DLL path if you want to unregister it.

tried that.

When I run the process as follows for both:

regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Movie Looks for Vegas\MovieLooks.dll"

or

regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Movie Looks for Vegas\Look Suite.win.dll" (the file vegas has an error with)

I get the following error
RegScr32
Load Library ("C:\Program Files\Movie Looks for Vegas\MovieLooks.dll") failed-the specified procedure could not be found.

That is the path of the file location. I copied and pasted it from an explorer address bar.

already had 5.0a (b 134) updated ealier, do I need to do it again?

Ran the movie looks update and get same errors as before (unable to locate componet) but now it is with "libguide40.dll" and then the same "look suite.win.dll"

try the manual regsvr again?
