Help Please with Editing Audio Plug-in Effect Parameters

RadioNerd wrote on 4/2/2020, 8:55 PM

Hi there, I've been using Vegas products for years at work (radio) and at home. I'm currently running Vegas Pro 15 (build 321) in my home studio and I can't for the life of me figure out how to edit audio plug-in parameters. I can chose and assign effects (Track EQ, Track Compressor, Resonant Filter, Reverb etc.) but I can't adjust the parameters of each effect. On my work computer when I got to adjust a plug-in setting I get a graphic interface of a compressor, reverb, etc--here at home I just get a drop down menu that only allows me to choose default settings, there is no way to fine tune them to my liking. This isn't an issue at work (I can see them fine) but here at home it's a different story. I feel pretty stupid :) Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Chances are the Effects Parameters screen has become hidden behind another window or off screen. Look for a random tab or rogue window.

If the plug-in parameters are hidden as Dot stated. There is a 'Use high DPI scaling' enable/disable setting; Right-click the VP <.exe> file (or shortcut), Later versions of VP have a "Use high DPI setting in "Options> Preferences> Display" I am not sure if VP-15 has this parameter.

Thank you to both rraud and Dot for the speedy response. It turns out it was a View > Windows Layout thing. I just reset the layout to Vegas 14 Default and everything appeared again. I closed all the windows I don't need (Video, Transitions, etc.) and can adjust my audio effect plug-in parameters again. I can't quite figure out how to not have it always open in the top corner, but I'll get to that. At least I can fine tune effects again.

Your help is very much appreciated. Thank you.
