Help Recovering File???

{I use Sony Vegas Pro 14}

Hey! I was working on a video for hours and when I tried to save I accidentally pressed cancel on a part of the save, and Vegas closed. (obviously didnt know that would happen :( ) I tried looking for it in a file path (image attached) but it wasnt there either

Please help me!! I am so desperate to get this file back I was working so hard on it!

The last version Sony had was 13... Version 14 is a MAGIX version.

 

Did you look for a .veg.bak file in the folder where you were saving the project?

Go to the folder nominated as the temporary files folder at the bottom of Options/Preferences/General - in that folder, look for any file including autosave.veg.bak or restored.veg in the file name that was/were created after you began the editing session. If one or more is there, you may be able to recover some of your work. Unfortunately, this is just about the only chance there is for a partial recovery if there is nothing in the folder where you are saving the project (as suggested by jetdv).

Many have had this happen, and the frustration caused highlights the reason to save often and save regularly.
