Im rendering to wmp9 file.. for some reason there is a small line at the very top of my videos that spans the entire image a thin line like a damaged old tv tube would act kinda.. It is off colored and doesnt do much for aesthetics.. Anyone seen this anomoly.. I rendered to MPG 2 and everything is fine.. Is it my windows media player or my compressed file producing the artifact?? Anyone know?

It sounds like the edge of the image that's never ever seen on a TV screen. When you render WMV you're rendering the entire frame, a large proportion of the edge was never meant to be seen. While I've never had this problem with my Sony DSR, it's a royal pain with my smaller cameras

One solution would be to use Track Motion to cut the entire image down to what would be seen on a TV screen (although that would involve increasing the image size thus reducing the quality slightly), or you could use a solid black border (border plugin) so that only the viewable area can be seen in the final render

I see this too.

* If I render to WMV9, I DO see the line at the top.
* If I turn off "Maintain aspect ratio" on the video event, then render to WMV9, I DO NOT see the line at the top.
