HELP! Rendering Problem

I have a project file with 10 secs of black then video with a flying in key over video at beginning. When I render it's not rendering for some reason the ten secs of black at the beginning and starting right from the key but have way into the key and the video.
What the %$#& is happening?
I just reinstalled my OS fresh?

The problem was simple. I re-booted the computer and then it rendered fine.
The only thing I didn't like was that the video played back kinda poorly and kind of choppy. I have a PNY NVidia 4 64meg of Ram video card and an AMD XP 1800?
