Help! Streaming f/w into MSN?

OK, for those that don't know, I've gotten busy with SKYPE and MSN to share with my Vegas Buddies here and there abouts ideas and stills and Vegas editing options and so on, and so forth . . . you know how you are!

OK - I was just experimenting using my Pana DV deck to stream some dallies I shot yesterday, to a chum via our MSN ( MS Messenger), and after a bit of jiggerypokery I got the f/w from the Pannie to "emerge" beautifully unscathed within the MSN Video session and which my Buddy could see. Now, I'm also "monitoring" the same stream on a JVC PAL monitor and I notice I aint getting the same size of frame as per the MS video window and after some debate we both realised neither of us was.

So, and here's the thing, how can I get the same Frame as per my monitor, within the MSN video session? I'm kinda getting the middle area - its missing maybe 30% all around.

I'm just over the Moon that I got this far!

Any thoughts and ideas would be gratefully received,

Grazie

Well, consider the fact that DV is 30,000Kbps and MSN is probably trying it's darndest to squeeze that down to 200Kbps ... seems like something has to give.

I am working on a video feed for a wedding (father is in
Iraq). I don't know how you can get a good picture. I am
trying out Windows Media Encoder (free)
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx
.
Best is only 320x240
I can't get more than one viewer in each direction.
(trying to get return feed of father giving away bride - will be a
surprise to daughter)

Keep us informed.

Said slightly tongue-in-cheek ... have you looked at SonicFoundry's mediasite?

They have products that handle high-quality video presentations in real-time.
