HELP - Transparent Bubble

Peeks wrote on 9/22/2004, 8:10 AM
Yet again, i turn to this group for help...

A client is requesting that his pictures and video to enter like bubbles. Can anyone tell me how i can achieve this with Vegas 5?

I was thinking of creating a transparent bubble then putting the pictures or video on it? Is this a good idea? And where could i find a transparent bubble?

Please help.

Thank you very much in advance!Ü

Bezier masking can create a transparent bubble, or you could use the Panopticum plugin to create exactly that, glass bubbles containing the text.

Hi Spot!

Just wanted to say thanks for all the help you've given to everyone here. I'm sure to buy your new book.Ü

Other forums aren't as accomodating.

Anyway, i downloaded a free animation software its called Anim8or and just wanted to ask what file type does Vegas recognize when it comes to 3D art?

You didn't ask this question in the DMN forum, where I'd post a picture of doing this. :-) (Can't post images here)

you'd want to render to a 32 bit avi in Anim8or or to a sequential TGA if it does it.

Check the VASST Site for the "popup video balloon" if you'd like to see how to do this with Bezier masks.
