Help using batch capture

Since moving from V2 to V3. I have been rendering my project and then bringing up my rendered project to time line and then doing print to tape. I am sure this is probably the long way around. I am not sure how to use the batch capture thing. I even capture my video from the project to the media pool. Can I find instruction or someone tell me how to use it and what it's advantages are?

You've mentioned two things: printing and batch capturing.

You can either print from the Vegas timeline or print (even batch print) from Video Capture's Print to Tape tab.

Batch capture allows you to capture clips automatically. These clips can either be manually created via the Advanced Capture tab, or already exist from a previous capture in which case it's basically recapturing.
