[Help] Video and audio tempo was not the same

WY wrote on 3/27/2011, 3:13 AM
I'm new to this software,
I had a problem about rendering my project,
CPU: i5 750, RAM: 4G, Win7 home edition 32bit,
Video clips were from Sony XR550,
After I finished my project,
I rendered it as 1920*1080i AVC movie,
Video and audio was ok in the beginning,
But audio became faster later,

I did same editing on Powerdirector 8,
No tempo issue was found,
So I think the clips were ok,

Could anyone advise me what items should I check,
or how to solve this problem,

Thank you in advance.

Assuming you're Vegas Movie Studio HD 10.

This is a multi-mode camcorder. Which mode did you shoot in? (I would recommend, if you plan to edit your video with this software, you only shoot in FX mode -- although you may be able to get by with HQ also.)

When you started your Vegas Movie Studio project, which project settings did you select? You should have selected AVCHD 1920x1080 Stereo.

How did you get your video from your camcorder to your computer? You should have used Vegas Movie Studio's Device Explorer.

Thanks for your response,
Yes,it's Vegas Movie Studio HD 10,
I shot all my clips in HQ mode, and connected my computer via Sony PMB software. I could review all clips normally both in PMB and Media player11,
For project setting, I did select AVCHD 1920*1080i,
But video and audio tempo being not the same still happen,
Since I've not found any related topics in this form so far,
I think it might be my setting issue instead of software problems,
Could you or any experts point out what items should I check, or how to solve this problem,
Thanks
