Help w/BIG Slide Show

I have approx 360 stills in .png format that I want to put into a slide show.

Is there an automated way when bringing these from the media pool onto the timeline so that transissons and display times are the same for all pixs without manually handling each still?

Otherwise, I can foresee carpal tunnel sugery and a new mouse in my future!

You can set up in the preferences how long you want each still to be for, and how long of an overlap you want between each picture. I just did a project with 175 pictures, I had it set at 6 seconds for each picture with a half second overlap between each one and it worked great. All you have to do is select all your stills, hopefully they are numbered in the order you want to, then drag them all up onto the timeline at the same time and it will automatically put them in order and overlap them.

360 stills! Don't tell me, you're doing a "One year in my back garden" thing.

If you want to add music, then check out that script that allows you to place markers along the sound track where you want the images to occur--then VOILA! they are there.

I'm not much of a gardener and the 360 doesn't refer to compass degrees.

It's for my 17 year old daughter's high school graduation reception party. My wife has spent the last 2 weeks digging shoeboxes out of closets with old pictures in them. You can guess what happened from there!!

Thanks for the pointers so far. I'm anxious to give them a try!!
