Help with burning live CD

cyberbeat wrote on 3/9/2000, 10:20 AM
I'm trying to burn a live CD and am having the following
problem. I split the wave file up in to separate tracks by
moving the cursor to where I want a new track to begin and
pressing 'T' like it says to do in the manual. I can then
burn the CD with no errors. The problem is that when I
play the CD on my CD player and seek forward, it takes
several seconds to find the next track. Some times it wont
even find it at all and either stops all together or goes
back to the previous track. I'm using an HP 7020i CDR
drive and Maxell CDRs. Thanks for any help on this.

Hello Stephen...

You are burning it correctly, I think this may have to do with the CD
player you are playing the CD's back on/the media (CD's) that you are
using.

You could refer to your HP manual to see which type of media they
suggest, this may help out... you could also try playing the CD back
in multiple CD players to determine whether it is just the CD player
or not.

Thanks!

Thanks for your response. I've tried the CD in three other CD
players and all have worked fine. However, the funny thing is that
I've never had any trouble with CDs before on the particular CD
player which is behaving in the manor I described in my original
post. I have been using CD Architect V4.0B up until now. I just
upgraded to the latest version which I believe is 4.0G. Do you think
this will make any difference?
