Help with capture settings...

im using Vegas6dand when i open the capture window it asks me whether i want to use internal or external capture, i inadvertantly ticket the "alwats use this type" button and cant find out how to get the window to pop up again, any help appreciated.

Where? I can’t find it. You can switch back and forth by selecting and deselecting the external capture program in the Video tab but you cannot get it to ask you again without going into the internal preferences as far as I can see.

If you go to Advanced Preferances (Options> Shift + Preferances) and go to the Internal Tab and type "Capture" (no quotes)in "Show only Prefs Containing " and you will find an option "Ask About Capture App" change it to true and Vegas will prompt you for the capture app.
