HELP with DVDA 4.5c and PSD

Hi,

I searched hi and low for help on how to make DVDA 4.5 work with multi layer PSD fies for customs menus. I found that there is a strict naming convention for layers that must be followed, and that I could find the naming convention in Live Help of DVDA. To my surprise and frusutration the Live Help of my DVDA has come up empty when searching for PSD, Phtoshop, Layer, Naming Convention. It has something on single layer but nothing at all on how to work with PSD files. Can you please help me to find this convention? Can this even be done on DVDA 4.5c? I am on my last rope with this software and Sony. This has been a huge dissapointment so far not to mention wasted money. Thank you so much to all.

i went to the help's index, got to typing in the "p" & "s" there were two choices for psd menu's. The second has all the naming stuff right there.

but there is no DVDA 4.5c. DVDA 4.5 pro goes up to b then to version 5. Most likely the cheap versions don't support psd importing as a menu.

Thanks for your help.
p&s, ps, psd, photoshop, layered grpahics...nothing. The DVDA verision I have is 4.5c (build 91). This is what is shows in About section. I downloaded an update that shows version 4.5d. My DVDA is Sony DVD Architect Studio 4.5. May be this is what the problem is?

I am using DVDAS 4.5d and confirm that Help shows no reference to Photoshop. I haven't tried, but I believe that the same techniques will work as for DVDA Pro. You could download the manual for Pro for more information.

don't see anything for the non-pro DVDA version about psd layers on the website. if it's not in the manual I'd assume it doesn't support it.
