Help with effect

I'm working on a wedding photo montage. The last pitcure is of an empty altar. From that I will have several final photos of the couple "emerge". I want those photos to have a feathered oval frame around them.

I am using track motion to size and move each photo. Tried the cookie cutter for the oval frame, but that does not doing anything to the outside edge of the picture. The inside portion of the pictures has the oval frame, but the outside remains unaltered.

How can I get the whole picture to be framed with a feathered oval??

Your suggestions are appreciated!

Galen

Why not create the oval with Bezier masking? Then use the Cookie cutter tool to fit. You can also use the Generated Media/Radial tools as well.

Spot,

Thanks I will try that this evening. Once I get the shape using the Bezier mask tool, will it follow the key framing of the track motion or does the mask have to be keyframed also.

Pretty new at this so sorry if I am asking an obvious question.

Thanks,
Galen
