help with files size on render

I'm trying to burn a 2 hour movie onto a DVD and apparently the file is too large for one dvd. It says it's over 5gbs. I don't know how to render it or how I can save it so it will fit on a single dvd. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use a bitrate calculator like the one on videohelp.
A 2 hr project will leave room to spare on a DVD at 4 Mbps.
