Help with green screen anyone?

Hello community,

I am a video editing hobbyist, very basic knowledge. I have recorded myself playing in front of a green screen because I was willing to see what are the possibilities with it. I twerked with some chroma plug ins but didn't get satisfactory results. Is there anyone on this community who would help me in a particular way:

I would send you a 10 seconds sample of a video, you remove green screen and place some random background of a music studio or something like that, do whatever you think is necessary for color correction etc.

In this way, I would be able to see what is possible to do with the sample and where I am currently.

Thank you in advance.

You might test the NewBlue Chroma Keyer which, I've found, gives better results than the built-in Chroma Keyer.

Hi @Led00 ,

Could you let us know the camera you are using and we can see if it records in 10bit colour (which can help)? Be sure that you are not standing too close to the green screen which can result in background colour "spill" in which reflected light is cast upon your subject resulting in an ugly key. Make sure the background is lit as evenly as possible and use a separate light on the subject if you have one. As jetdv mentions, the NewBlue keyer can give superior results and has a rudimentary masker to minimize the amount of the image you need to key out.

I've used color corrector secondary for this which lets you precisely select the greens you want to remove.

Hey Community,

First of all, thank you all for reaching out, I am glad I can get the help :)

Before recording in front of green screen I have done research as best as I could. So I did use two seperate lights for green screen and two for the subject and also am using Chroma Key Pro. All in all, I have reached the top of what I can do and from this point I am searching for someone who can do it better than me just so I can see how good can it look if I know what to click :)

What if you just post a link to the footage here?
