Help with Instalation

I cant seem to Install Vegas Audio 2.0.........Massege keeps saying I need DirectX 8 DV Update, but I already have (DirectX 8.1) What should I do????????......................Someone please help me on this one.............you can also e-mail me at (frankvfh@yahoo.com)

At the top of this page, right side...click on downloads.
Next, click on updates.
Click on VideoFactory 2.0 (I know, Iknow, stay with me here)
You should now see a blue tilte saying "download and install directX 8 and DV updater... click on it.
Next, select Digital Video Update.
