Help with iphone5 video in movie studio

I have learned that I cannot render iphone 5 video the way I do with gopro2 video. With the gopro footage I use 'match media settings' and it comes out great.

If I try that with the iphone footage it is terrible. What settings should I use when working with iphone5 footage in sony vegas HD11? Any help is greatly appreciated.

What is "terrible"? Upload some examples somewhere (not Youtube!).

"Match Media Settings" is a first-tier Project setting, and as such does not affect the output in the least. Completely separate from rendering.

Which Quicktime version is installed on your computer? That can make a difference.

You should use 1920x1080 @ 23.976fps. The iPhone shoots 24p but the frame rate is sometimes seen as 24.001 in Vegas which is a little strange. You may have to disable resample on the events to eliminate ghosting too.
