Hi all

Wow! what a great piece of software. I do have a few questions.

just one for now. Does anyone know where to find a more detailed explination on how to setup joystick control with Movie Studio? I have only had mine a few weeks after falling in like with the demo. I can't find anything on the DVD it came on or anyplace on the forum or anywhere on the web.

It came with a few preinstalled configurations and a very short text file but it didn't give me enough info to figure it out.

EDIT: Oh, I got the pro manual and didn't find anything iin it.

I haven't had a joystick hooked up to any of my computers for *years* now. I suspect many of us here on the forum are the same way .. but that's just a guess .. can you tell that I'm *not* a gamer?

If you want a controller to help you edit .. look at the Countour Design ShuttleXpress. I have one and it works pretty good. It just hooks to a USB port, and is very easy to configure.

Believe it or not, there's something about using a joystick in the Help files.

Vegas software supports several types of hardware devices you can use to adjust controls in the user interface, from a full-featured, professional control surface to a simple gaming joystick.

Hey. you guys are fast. I've looked in the help files and readme files without finding the needed info.

Brighterside, I'm no gamer either but I dabble sometimes with games. I really used the Wingman Rumblepad mainly to navigate in an older version of ACDSee but now, I found a nice mouse which is very programmable.

Thanks guys for the quick replies. I'm getting use to the keyboard shortcuts so I may decide the keyboard is the better choice.
