Help with menu on dvd arcitech 4.5

Does anyone know how to make a menu on dvd arcitech 4.5? I've made many dvds over the years with this software, but only one short movie per dvd. Now I try to put all my movies on one dvd and it won't let me. For instance, it lets me open one (DAR file) at a time. If I try to add another, but then it says, 'Do you want to save previous file?" So it only lets me do one at a time. Now, if I go to "insert media", it says it 'An error occured when opening one or more file. A proper stream could not be found inb the media file' However, my friend once before burned one dvd with 4 different movies on it, using DAR files (the default format FOR burning DVD's in dvd arcitech. I don't get this.

If you want to place several movies onto a menu you can simply drag them from the explorer window to the preview window.

DAR files simply contain the project information, not the movies themselves. There is no need to open more than one DAR file at a time.

The error message appears to indicate that you have a corrupt or incompatible file. You might need to re-generate or re-download it.

You can only run one DAR file at a time within DVDA. To run two DAR files you need to start an extra instance of DVDA.

I think what you should be loading into DVDA are MPG files (plus associated AC3 files), not DAR files. Another way to insert them is do a right-click and select insert or whatever the actual words are. If you are inserting several MPG files you will have the option of having one run into the next or alternatively each file returning to the menu when it finishes. You set the "end action" of a movie as appropriate to do this.
