With Vegas 4 we can drag-n-drop a transition on a series of selected clips and it will insert that transition in all of them.

But how do I do a simple crossfade (as I can't find it to drag it).

And why doesn't the project shrink as you'd expect if you overlapped a bunch of clips manually?
