Hello All,
I am in bit of a bind & an hoping that someone will be able to help me.
I currently have VEGAS 5. I upgraded from VEGAS 4. I am in the following situation:
I have shot video content (on MINI-DV) & I would like to do a 24fps render to give my content a "film look". However, I am noticing that no matter what settings I use I still get a "blurry" effect when the camera moves from side to side. I have tried several different settings & nothing seems to aid in the BLURINESS during camera motion. When I say BLURINESS I mean the following: When the camera moves EVERYTHING on the screen becomes unfocused. When I do a normal 29.97 DV render, everything looks fine...
Does anyone out there have any suggestions or settings that they use for this kind of situation? I have tried changing the MOTION BLUR TYPE in the Project Preferences section & I have the following setup for the project:
MASTER VIDEO was shot in 4:3 mode, mini-dv
Project properties: NTSC DV 24p (720 X 480) 23.96 fps
Frame rate:23.96 IVTC FILM
MOTION BLUR TYPE:GAUSSIAN
DEINTERLACE METHOD: BLEND FIELDS
For The RENDER:
ASPECT RATIO: 4:3
FRAME RATE:23.96 + 3:2 pulldown
I FRAMES:12
B Frames: 2
Profile:MAIN
Level: MAIN
Video Quality-HIGH
Any insight or help will be greatly appreciated..
All the best,
Kenny
