HEVC (H265) files crashing - Is it fixed in Vegas 20 v326 ?

Hi, I have two issues I could do with some advise for please.

1. I edit quite lot of 4K drone and GoPro footage and in Vegas 19 & 20 have had a lot of trouble with the program crashing when editing these files. My PC is a very high spec custom build and the crashing happens even if files are proxied before hand. However if I render them to MP4 files (H264) before editing them I have no issues (obviously that's a very time consuming and should be an unnecessary step). I think I have read somewhere that the new build 326 addresses this issue but wondered if anyone could confirm that it does before I update and also is there any negatives to updating to 326?

2. Also every time I open Vegas 20 I get a warning that the program didn't shut down correctly the previous time and asks me if I want to restore the last session. I have used vegas since 13 and to shut down I save the program then close with the cross in the top right corner. Is there any new steps to close down in Vegas 20 that I am not aware of?

If anyone can help on the above I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Max

1. This has been adressed. On my laptop I am now able to load many hours of my UHD Hevc 50p GOPRO files.
2. With all settings at default I never saw this.
