Problem solved...The newest vertion of the Veritas software Record Now with DLA is what caused the conflict....

Record Now Max by Stomp (Record Now with DLA by Veritas used to be free and now this company charges for DLA) is what caused the conflict.

I went back to the earlier version and have no conflict.

FWIW, I've removed Stomp's DLA permanently from my computer. It has caused me countless problems and conflicts. Packet writing software is so unreliable anyway.

I agree....I had big trouble with stomp...so far the earlier Veritas/Sony (VERITAS DLA, Version 3.58....VERITAS RecordNow, Version 4.50) version works though and no DVDA conflicts.
